India Wins Cricket World Cup 2011

Planning to start a cricket team?  Want to coach your own kids?  Or perhaps brush up on the rules?  Cricket, like other sports, has a rich and complicated vocabulary of its own. 

On April 2nd 2011, India won the ICC Cricket World Cup tournament played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.  India defeated Sri Lanka in the final by six wickets.  This was perhaps the most watched sports event ever.  Estimates put the number of world wide TV viewers at over a billion people.  The last time India won the World Cup was in 1983.
